I know that we might be a little bit early but Massimo and I already put the Christams tree out, as well as some other Christmas decorations around the house. We are still a month away from the holiday season but we just can’t help ourselves, we love the cozy and warm atmosphere of our living room with the tree. During the evening we might even forget that we were at the beach just few days ago and we can feel the winter touch.

I think also my closet follows the craziness of spending winter under 30 degrees. If some days all I want to wear are summer dresses, other days my body remembers that it’s November and all I can think are sweaters and thick clothes. The way I pick colours has also changed. I’m wearing less pastel colors prefering others like for example olive green – a current favorite of mine.

This corduroy pants are just one of my to-go item to wear these days. You can match them with the oversized corduroy blazer, but I prefer to wear them with a light wool sweater, that I tuck in. You might think it’s too much for Dubai, but if I only wear a bra under I don’t feel too warm.

This winter sweater reminds me a lot about Christmas, probably the reason why I bought it at first place (at Mall of the Emirates, if you are based in Dubai, or you can check Villaggio mall if you are in Doha). Another cute option is this mustard and cream pullover.

Since I don’t really want to look like Bridget Jones too much (if you know what I mean), I always add different layers of dainty necklaces for an extra chic touch.

Finally I updated my shoe collection, intoducing one of the most coveted boots of the season: the sock boots. For those who are not really familiar with the trend, the sock boost are those who are particularly tight on the ankle.

I didn’t own any white boots, so when Charles & Keith asked me to choose a pair of shoes from their FW collection, I went straight to this model. The heel is pretty high but comfortable. The sock boots needed to adjust a little bit to my feet. At the very beginning it was difficult to keep them on for long time, but now I feel I can handle them for an entire evening!
