We are only a week far from Valentine’s Day!

My head is already full of hearts, flowers and chocolates. Especially chocolates! I really think that this celebration has become too much a way to spend extra money. But, at the same time, I love the idea to set a romantic dinner with my husband. This year we are particularly lucky. February 14th is also Qatar Sport National Day which means offices are closed and we get a full day to spend together.

I think this is already the best Valentine’s gift that I could receive ♥ (after chocolates, of course!)

We haven’t planned the day yet, but, of course, I already decided what to wear for the occasion. And it doesn’t include red. Personally, I think that red is too overrated for Valentine’s Day. The risk to go to the restaurant and see all other women with a dress similar to yours is around the corner!

What I also think is that you don’t need to wear something new to make the date night special. Certainly, Valentine’s Day is still a good excuse to get a bit overdressed. But I’m pretty sure that we all own at least one dress that we keep in the closet for special occasions.

For my Valentine’s look I decided to play with what I found in my wardrobe. I had fun matching together garments that I normally wear separately. After pulling out almost half of my closet, I finally ended to pick this colorful dress. To add a dramatic touch I matched the dress with a ruffle sleeves top. These ruffle sleeves follow my movements so well that it looks like I have wings! When I wore the oufit I literally felt like a fairy ready to live the most romantic story of her life 🙂

She is very good in weddings, events and family portraits. We already worked together once for Mrs B.’s event and hope to have many other occasions to plan projects with her!
