Most of the time, during weekend, we go out for lunch. Doha offers many options for brunch. Most of them are in 5* hotels, so I always end to dress myself up for the occasion. But sometimes, there are weekends where I really want to relax and my outfit’s choice reflects this feeling.

No heels, no fancy dresses, no heavy makeup. Just me.

Last weekend was one of these. It was a beautiful day so Massimo and I decided to go for a walk breathing some fresh air. Well, we were also craving, since we only had a light breakfast. For this reason we opted to go to Qanat Quartier, the colorful neighborhood at The Pearl. We recently tried Evergreen Organics, the first vegan restaurant in Doha and we liked it a lot. There is an amazing raw chocolate cake that  was impressed in my mind for all the week, so last Friday was the perfect time for another slice of it!

When we decided to go out, I chose to wear a very simple-but-so-pretty dress that I got recently from Namshi.

If you are not familiar with this website, Namshi is the main destination in the Middle East where to find great brands at an affordable price. Sister Jane is a very nice brand and its collections are always very feminine. Some pieces are romantic and uber chic, others are more strong for a girl that rocks!

So when I saw this Sister Jane dress on Namshi, I didn’t think twice and I clicked the “add to the cart” button.

I could have styled this Sister Jane dress in million of ways. Imagine how great it would look paired with these shoes (that I still can’t believe that are under 100$!!) and this bag which is at the moment at the top of my wishlist.

But I honestly preferred to leave the heels at home and to wear a comfortable pair of loafer shoes. Mine are very old. I bought them four years ago at H&M. And it’s probably time to buy a new pair since I’ve almost destroyed them. But, well, while I think if these can be an option, I still stay faithful to mine.

I have also another reason why I decided to wear this Sister Jane dress. Ok, it’s very comfortable (I’m wearing a M size in case you want to ask). But it also comes in the cutest pink check print which perfectly matches with all the buildings that you see at Qanat Quartier.

Yes, I’m guilty!!

When I heard that Qanat Quartier was our destination, I couldn’t miss a chance to take some photos over there. My husband almost killed me but you know what we say?! Happy wife, happy life! 🙂
