Last week I was invited by Marsa Malaz Kempinski hotel at The Pearl to try out a treatment of my choice at the Spa by Clarins.

I don’t go very often at The Pearl because it’s totally on the opposide side of the city and with Doha’s traffic it takes me sometimes more than one hour to reach that area. But when I go I’m always surprised about this neighborhood. It’s literally a pearl inside the city. It’s so clean, fresh and green.
And I always thought that Marsa Malaz Kempinski looks majestic during the night when all lights are on. Well the other day I understood that this hotel is superb also during the day. For those who don’t know, Marsa Malaz Kempinski leans on a small artifical island. The entrance to the hotel is gorgeous!

Anyway, lets’ go back to the review. That morning I didn’t feel very well. I had a very strong flu for the entire last week with a terrible cold. Spa by Clarins’ staff were absolutely fabulous preparing for me 15 minutes at the steamy room to try to give me some relief.
I must say that the staff really treated me because they also reserved an entire suite room for my appointment!

When I arrived at my suite room I was already so relaxed that I could fall to sleep in any moments. And I think this is what I did as soon as I touched the soft and warm bed.
The treatment that I chose is  “The Radiance Reviver“. It’s 60 minutes of facial treatment particularly recommended for women over 30 (here I am) that have a skin that shows signs of stress (present again!) due to a busy lifestyle and early winkles (wow, perfect score!!). My therapist was Nana and she was excellent. I can’t tell you exactly all the steps of the treatment because – I won’t lie – I felt asleep a couple most of the time. But the treatment mainly consists in a serie of facial massages using different products, by Clarins of course. The massage touches face, neck and shoulders. It’s really divine.

I know that it’s difficult to see immediate effect on the skin after one treatment only. But my skin had really a different touch. It was more soft, smooth and compact.

I would recommend this treatment if you need to do something for your skin and for your wellness at the same time. The atmosphere at the Spa is luxurious, friendly and very relaxing. Trust me. What I wanted to do was to cancel the other appointments of the day to stay there longer.

Spa by Clarins also offers a giant private space that you can book for you and your girl friends. There is a steamy room, a realxing room and one dedicated room for chromo therapy ( something that I’d love to try!!).

If after the treatment you start to feel hungry the Spa offers a healthy food-station. But can I give you a suggestion? You know that I’m italian right? So after the treatment just move yourself to Antica Pesa. The weather is incredible now. You can pick a table outdoor and eat your lunch surrounded by the sea. There is the business lunch that for less than 100qr let you taste high quality italian food.

At this point going back to your daily routine will be pretty hard!
