Flowers + Eye Brooch
When I don’t have time to think of what to wear I just pull out from the closet a skirt and a shirt. It can be my total relax outfit for those days when I don’t wear denim jeans. This look makes me totally ready to cruise through the day. And also through the evening.
Yes, because the combo shirt + skirt is so easy to turn in the perfect evening look.
If I prefer flat shoes and maxi bags for the day, I opt for heels and clutch for the evening. In the outfit that I’m wearing today I totally like the stripe-on-stripe game that shirt and clutch play together. However, when I picked the look, I thought that I had to add something more to make the look standout. So I decided to go for one bold, statement-making accessory, aka the eye brooch.
I’ll be honest with you. Normally I believe that less is more, especially when we talk about embellishment. I don’t like to wear shiny accessories, but this eye brooch is my exception. It’s from H&M and I paid it a handful of euros. The best money ever spent because this eye brooch is the simplest and chicest way to add interest to my outfits. Furthemore I might have paid few euros it but the eye brooch doesn’t look cheap at all. It has a lot of charm and glamour.
On a fashion side note: brooch and pins are absolutely a must-to-follow trend of the moment. There are millions of choices on the market. For all budgets. I’m slowly getting into the trend and let me say that I absolutely love playing with pins on my denim jacket. Undoubtedly it’s the best way to give a second life to your classic denim jacket.
Anyway, there are tons of way to wear brooches and pins. Don’t let nothing block your inspiration. For example: have you have thought to emballish your shoes clipping some sparkling pins on? 🙂
