The Tartan Look
Though I love living in a warm country I like going back home for a couple of weeks and breath the winter atmosphere. One of my childhood memory is tartan. Wearing a tartan skirt during middle or high school was so common. A must to do! And I think there isn’t a winter without a touch of tartan. So I dug up my old skirt and I styled it with a warm sweater and a little black jacket and then I wrapped my self in a maxi scarf that I bought last year in Paris (one of the best purchase that I did that time, it’s incredibly warm!!). Normally I would match the skirt with a pair of loafer or man-shoes but this year fashion requires to wear a pair of over-the-knee boots and so I did (the same pair that I wore here).
Obviously it took me 10 minutes to take these pictures. One or two smiles, few clicks and then both me and my husband literally ran inside the house dreaming of a fireplace and a hot chocolate. During Christmas time words like diet and calories are totally banned by my vocabulary! But now that I’m back to normal routine I cry everytime that I try to put on my jeans. Sigh, I guess it’s time to go back to the gym. Do you have any winning strategy to fight extra calories eaten during the holiday season?! If yes, please share with me!!
