Milan Fashion Week – Vivetta SS16

I’m back in Doha after ten days in Italy for the Milan Fashion Week. I’m going to write a proper post about “#MFW” because I have a lot of thoughts to share – some nice and some less, but for the moment let’s stay focused on fashion shows which supposed to be the real reason to attend a fashion week.

For me it’s sufficient to pronounce this name to have heart-shaped eyes. Vivetta, you make me fall in love every season and the SS16 collection didin’t disappoint me.

Swans and kittens are still protagonists of SS16 collection but this time inspiration comes from Sixties and the visual imagination of Slim Aarons. I loved all contrasts of colors. Each single dress looks like a painting drawn by kids. My attention was focused all the time on these mixes of colorblocks but at the same time every single details caught my eyes. Especially the amazing accessories worn by models. Platforms sandals and Vivetta famous collars are already on my wishlist! (I’m thinking to pre-order them on And what to say of those glasses and sunglasses? Stunning!

But I have to spend a word also to models. They were really beautiful and incredibly stilish. And trust me, it’s not obvious. Nowadays I see quite often women who are called models and walk the runaways just because they are skinny.

Here below some of my favourite outfits and last but not least, what Mrs B. wore at the Vivetta fashion show.
