Last week I flew to Dubai to attend to the launch of Kat Von D Beauty collection at Sephora Middle East. I was also lucky enough to get the chance to interview Kat Von D herself!

The afternoon was epic. After I spent a couple of hours having rest in my amazing suite at Vida Downtown Dubai Hotel, I went to the Act at Shangri-la Hotel to meet Kat Von D. We sitted down on the sofa as we always did before and we started to chat about her passion for beauty products and the collection to release in Middle East which I’m sure it will be appreciated by most of women in the Gulf. The Kat Von D Beauty line is well-known all over the world for its long-wear and high pigmentation, two factors extremely appreciated in this region.

This beauty collection totally reflects the personality of the creator. Kat Von D loves art and she wears it every day on her skin with her tattoos. For her, also makeup should be a way of self-expression. A lipstick, a concealer, a mascara or an eyeliner should always let the woman play with her beauty. And the best part is that at the end of the day you can always wash your makeup away and start a new artwork the morning after.

I also get a beauty tip from Kat Von D. She suggested me to try the Tattoo Liner. It’s not only her favourite product but it’s also an eye liner extremely easy to use. The perfect tool for a beginner like me who loves the eye-cat effect.
