From 24th to 28th of March, Doha hosted the annual Qatar International Food Festival (QIFF). Located in one of the most beautiful parks of the city, the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) park, this festival is that kind of event that most of people wait for all the year.
The answer is: food, food, and again food! The QIFF consists in five days of gastronomic eating and drinking from all around the world. Thai, tex-mex, italian, indian, chinese, lebanese, just to list some of cousines available.
Further, most of the exclusive restaurants in Doha are present with their own stands offering their specialities but at a reasonable price.
Surely, one of the main attractions of the festival is the “dining in the sky“, an exclusive experience of eating suspended 30 meters above ground.
I personally try a delicious Pad-thai and a vanilla icecream. My husband chose sushi prepared by the Souq Waqif Boutique Hotels and a nutella crepe as dessert!
The atmosphere is really genuine. The QIFF offers a lot of enterteinments, music and performances for both adults and kids (like face painting and playing area).
