I’m a fan of Fat Mum Slim. It’s an aussie blog founded and written by Chantelle who is also the creator of the Photo-A-Day contest. Each beginning of month she publishes on her blog a list of themes, one for each day of the current month. For any theme corresponds a photo to take.

I already partecipated to this contest some years ago. And now, that I’m in a new country, now, that I see so many strange and different things from my reality I decided to take part the April contest again.

This one was my first thought.

Then I had also another thought. Why don’t involve in this contest other women who are living in Middle East to see in how many different ways a theme can be interpretated in these amazing countries?

And who could I have contacted if not Mimma and Drusilla from the blog Mamme Nel Deserto and Nadia from Abaya And Heels?

Both Mimma and Drusilla live in Kuwait City, Kuwait. Nadia lives in Riyad, Saudi Arabia. We are all from Italy and we are all living in Middle East as expats.

So, we have all the participants. We have April-Photo-a-Day list. We have our cameras or Iphone. What we have to do is simply start!

All photos will be published on our Instagram profiles and Facebook pages (mine are @Bonjourchiara and Bonjour Chiara) and they will be tagged as #APhotoADayInME and #WomenInTheDesert. In this way you’ll find all our photos in one place.
