What does it make a normal Friday unforgettable?
A new pair of shoes.
It’s sales time and I made a good business finding a fabulous Marc Jacobs shoes. Oh happy girl!
A Spritz homemade party.
Alcohol is forbidden in Doha, so I’m forgetting about “Happy Hours” which are italian traditions So when my husband proposed me to organize a Spritz party at our house I was so happy and greatful to him!
A funny night with good friends.
We had pizza. We had focaccia. We had nachos and spicy sauce. We had snacks and sweets. We had chocolate salami. We told stories. We did plans for next weeks. Together with friends.
A Christams tree in the living room.
It’s hard to feel winter and Christams atmosphere under 26 degrees, in the middle of the desert. So my husband and I created our personal atmosphere in our living room. And now coming home after a work day is absolutely perfect.
An original Panettone from Italy.
I think that my husband didn’t start to cry when he saw a Panettone at the grocery store just because the grocery was crowded. But in any case he passed the rest of the time cuddling the Panettone and thinking to go home and taste it!
A walk along a “Venice canal” (in the Villaggio Mall) together with my husband.
I will dedicate an appropriate post talking about crazy things in Doha. But yes, there is a Little Venice inside a mall!
