The Outfit That Involves A Maxi Bow Skirt
I have a thing for maxi bows. And it’s not a secret.
I have a thing for pink. Another aspect of me that is not a secret.
I have a thing for polka dots. And, again, neither this one is a secret.
So, when I spotted the maxi bow skirt and the polka dot silk shirt in stores, I had two big crashes that ended with me coming back home with shopping bags. But let’s forget for a moment the status of my bank account and let’s focus on these two pieces. Shall we?
THE MAXI BOW SKIRT
Ted Baker recently released a capsule, which is part of SS18 collection, all focused on the shades of pink. In other words, a collection perfectly matching my style. I already own some pieces, you probably saw some of them on my Instagram. But this maxi bow skirt is without doubts my favourite one. The skirt is outstanding! It makes such a big impact that easily brings the entire outfit to another level. Even if I wore this maxi bow skirt with a simple white T-shirt the outfit would still look cool.
To give you an idea how much I love the skirt, I tell you that I got it also in dark magenta, which I love pairing it with white or dark navy tops.
THE POLKA DOT SILK SHIRT
I proudly found this polka dot silk shirt during the winter sale. The moment I started thinking I didn’t need any other pink shirts my eyes caught this one at Uterque and I couldn’t resist. But I don’t feel sorry for that, neither a little. This shirt perfectly goes with my closet and my style. It’s pink, in silk and it comes in a polka dot print. I’m sure I’m gonna wear it a lot. Not only pairing the shirt with the maxi bow skirt, but also with denim jeans, classic trousers and mini skirts. It’s a good investment piece which neither broke my finances too much since it was at a reduced price!
