Happy 2018, Ladies!

As usual, it’s time to write down new resolutions. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna break most of them in few months (if not weeks, workout resolution I’m talking to you). However, this year I want to make a serious effort to try to improve something about my style. Specifically, what I want to change is what I usually wear when I’m at home.

Like some of you, I work from home. This can be tricky. For some reasons I love working at home. I’m more productive when I’m surrounded by my own stuff. They inspire me. And I proudly admit that I’m good in following a schedule. However what I’m not really good at is to take care of myself when I’m at home. Let me explain this better. I seriously envy those women who are always well dressed, even when they don’t have to leave the house. Where do they find the will to take off their pj’s and put on clothes (I mean… REAL CLOTHES!) and makeup?

Starting from today, I really want to try hard to change this bad habit of mine. But I won’t lie. I don’t have any intention to over dress myself (I don’t even see the point to do that and it would lead me to get tired of this resolution quite soon).

What I want to do is to wear comfy and cozy loungewear clothes that make me look neat and pretty.

HOW TO WEAR LOUNGEWEAR LIKE A PRO

The solution to my resolution ( 🙂 ) falls under the name LOUNGEWEAR.

Loungewear clothes are normally comfortable and cozy. My favourite pieces are those in cashmere. The feeling of cashmere on the skin looks like a sweet cuddle. I can’t imagine to wear jeans when I work at home, but these wide-leg pants are definitely an option. Put on different layers is also a great solution. Depends on where you live, weather might be very cold or very warm at the moment. In Dubai it’s still pretty warm, sometimes I feel hot with a simple T-shirt, other times I feel the wind coming from the windows and I need a maxi cardigan (especially when it’s 50% off!).

I definitely want to look more chic and elegant but I don’t want to splurge a fortune in clothes that they will never see the world outside my house. For this reason I checked The Outnet, which is one of my main sources where to look for great deals.
