Unconventional New Year Outfit Ideas
Last week I googled ” New Year Outfit Ideas ” to see if I could find inspiration for my New Year look. A lot of red dresses came out and I shouldn’t be surprised. I’m sure red is the first choice for most of you, especially this year that it is one of the trendy colors of season.
Although I like this color, I also like to think “out of the box” and to wear something unusual. It happened before, you probably remember my outfit for Valentine’s day (which didn’t involve red).
So, after checking my closet I picked two options for New Year night. Now the only problem is to check if I still fit in these two looks, because, you know, we celebrated Christmas in big style – read a lot of food.
NEW YEAR OUTFIT IDEAS #1 – LACE DRESS

What you think it might be a top it’s actually a longuette lace dress. It’s a piece from a special holiday collection from Claudiet Pierlot, exclusively made for Middle East.
Although this dress is an outstanding piece by itself (with a sexy deep neckline on the back), I decided to style it adding a black under skirt. A pair of black slingback heels (if you haven’t noticed yet, slingback heel is my favorite style of shoes at the moment) and a small clutch completed the look perfectly!
NEW YEAR OUTFIT IDEAS #2 – VELVET SUIT
Topshop velvet suit | & Other Stories heels (℅) | Issa London clutch (℅)
When I think of New Year’s looks I always imagine to wear dresses or skirts. However, I recently started to appreciate the elegance of a good suit.
So, this velvet suit might be my option n. 1 for New Year’s party. I wore it for the first time for Cosmo Beauty Awards and it was quite a success. It’s feminine but at the same time it gives you an extra dose of confidence (I feel like a sort of important manager in this velvet suit!). The only girly touch that I allowed to myself are those ruffled shoes from & Other Stories collection. Aren’t the prettiest ones?!
