How many can say they have ridden a flamingo? Well, I did!

Last time Massimo and I went to Katara (I talked about it here), I noticed for the first time that Katara beach rents giant falmingo and swan boats. Paying 50 qr you can ride these boats for 30 mins. Each boat keeps up to 6 people.

I mean a giant flamingo boat!! I didn’t have the time to buy a ride that day, so I came back another time. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon and I brought one of these flamingos out for a ride together with a friend fo mine. It was fun!

I must be particularly lucky in these days since riding a flamingo was actually the second magic moment that I lived recently. The first one was when I found the perfect floral dress.

It sounds like a very easy thing to do. You visit a store, you try a couple of floral dresses and voilà! You bring a new floral dress in your closet. Unfortunately the reality is very different. Have you ever had the feeling that when you are really looking for a specific thing you will never find it and when you stop looking for it… It magically appears!

In fact, I was browsing Namshi e-shop looking for a new floral dress to wear this season and I was almost ready to give up. But at some point, my eyes caught a fabulous print. One click on the link and… yes!!

This was the floral dress of my dreams! Exactly what I wanted. Maxi length. Nice floral print. Pastel colors. And some details that make the dress stand out. In fact, this floral dress has a beautiful back, a cross road and ruffle game.

I styled my new Namshi floral dress with a pair of velvet shoes and then I added the embroidered jacket that I bought last summer at &Other Stories. The result was a casual chic look.

Further, if you have a more formal occasion, like a wedding, this floral dress will still be a perfect option. But, instead of the denim jacket you can wear a maxi scarf. Instead of block heels, you can pair the dress with nude stiletto heels.
