Have you visited Zara recently?

Well, if I was a good blogger and a good friend, I would recommend to stay away from Zara. Do Not Enter There. The Spring collection is so good that you will end to splurge your next two month salaries for sure. Exactly what happened to me. Ok, I like to call my cloth shopping a kind of investment, but still… I’m completely broken at the moment, lol.

Two weeks ago I worked as stylist for a commercial and one of the scene involved a young stylish business woman. I had to dress the model with something very cool and trendy. I went to Zara to check out what was in store and I found the best Zara suit ever.

The Zara suit comes in three versions: pink, white and black with polka dots. Well, I totally felt in love with the black version with white dots! It was too much for the model, but definitely not for me. So last week I went back to the store to buy this amazing Zara suit.

I like this Zara suit for many different reasons. It’s fun, first at all. It’s practical because the oversized fit makes you feel comfortable. Then, it’s perfect if mixed and matched with many other items that are already in the closet.

If the combo jacket + culotte pants is too extravagant for you, you can wear one item at time. The jacket would work very well styled with a maxi pleated white skirt. The culotte pants are easy wearable with a simple t-shirt or even with a ruffled shirt for a more glamour look.

How I styled the Zara suit with polka dots.

I liked styling the Zara suit with a bow shirt. I think it balances the masculine and the feminine sides of the look.

The Zara suit is a strong piece, you can tell it. So I really wanted to keep the rest of the look as simple as possible. I didn’t want to involve heels so I wore a comfortable pair of loafers. I understand that, sometimes, my outfits require a certain level of courage! Maybe not all of you would wear polka dots from head to toe, but I never get tired to repeat that the concept of fashion is strange. You should choose what to wear because that particular cloth makes you feel good. Wear what makes you happy. No matter what other says.
