Bell sleeve sweater + baby blue skirt
When I saw this bell sleeve sweater at H&M store in Doha, I didn’t think twice. I grabbed it and I bought it. Although I knew that it was too warm for Doha’s winter. So, when we managed to go back to Italy for the new year, I put the bell sleeve sweater in my luggage as first thing!
Bell sleeves are a huge trend of the moment. You already noticed how sleeves became a statement when they started to be covered by tons of ruffles. If you are a little bored of ruffles, bell shape is the next step to follow.
When I put together the outfit, I styled my baby blue sweater with a slightly darker blue mini skirt. Another fashion find spotted in Doha but worn for the first time in Italy. The skirt’s fit worked very well together with the cropped knitwear.
When it comes to decide which color I want to wear, pink and baby blue are always on the top of the list. For this reason, I’m thinking to get also a bell sleeve sweater in pink which would work very well with a burgundy mini skirt. And probably also with the bag in this color! What do you think?
The day we took these photos was beautiful! And the light simply amazing. For these reasons, we decided to have a walk around Pallanza, the place where we live in Italy. We love walking outside so much when we are back. Definitely it’s something that we really miss in Qatar.
We walked until Madonna di Campagna, an old church (built in 1527) which personally I consider one of the most beautiful churches that we have in the area. It’s majestic, and you can feel so small in front of it – at least this was my feeling when I took this particular photo.
If you ever want to visit my hometown, I’ll be very happy to share with you tips and suggestions about what to see/ where to stay/ what to eat 🙂
