IT Girls Love This H&M Striped Shirt
I’m a big lover of high street brands. Most of them offer daily new entries and new style ideas that perfectly follow the latest trends. With the vast amount of inventory that H&M, Zara, Mango and Topshop – to name few – maintain at any given time, it’s very easy to exclaim “I need it!”. Especially when you check those ridicolous prices.
However, the tricky part is knowing what is really worth the purchase. I’m talking about how to recognize those wardrobe-lifting pieces that provide instant glam with zero effort.
Fortunately it’s pretty easy to pinpoint those key-pieces from high street brands that are born to become must have. You just have to check what IT girls wear at the beginning of the season to decide what to buy.
And this is what I did last September, falling in love with this H&M striped shirt (which also comes in white and in black).
I wore this H&M striped shirt for many occasions and every time I received so many compliments. For being an item from a high street brand, the quality of the cotton is very impressive! I declare – with no doubts – that this shirt is H&M’s great success making it your next wardrobe staple.
This elevated top works really well with many different styles. I wore the white version with a lace pencil skirt. But I think the best match is the H&M striped shirt + denim jeans.
For a late lunch on a Friday afternoon with the hubby I wore the H&M striped shirt with a pair of black jeans. Those are another key piece that I immediately felt in love with at the beginning of Autumn. Unfortunately the fit is not that amazing. My hips look wider in these jeans. However, sometimes you just have to reply to that image that the mirror reflects to you with a simple “who cares?!”. We are women, we have hips, right?
This is one of my favorite outfits that I put together in the last weeks. The accessories that I wore helped a lot to wow the look. First, that early Christmas gift which came in the color of orange 🙂 Then, a pair of classic Mary Jane shoes that are extremely comfortable and really chic. Last but not least, my new Fendi sunglasses that I recently found at Qatar Optics, at Gulf Mall.
This store is the temple where to find the most beautiful sunglasses! I tried the famous Iridia by Fendi. I liked those sunglasses but they looked too trendy on me. My choice felt on this model that I wore today. I think it really plays a game with my quirky style!
