Let’s go back when I was in Italy in September. One day my husband and I woke up without having particular plans in mind. It might sounds normal for you to not have busy days when you are on holiday (relax first, right?) but our days back at home are always full of visits to parents, family and friends!

Anyway, we were pretty excited of this precious free time and we decide to make the most of it going a little bit around our hometown. I suggested my husband to take the car and to visit a place called Cavandone where I know there is an amazing view of Lago Maggiore.

Ok. Stop. I have to be honest with you, at least with you! Because I wasn’t very honest with my husband. I sold him the trip to this place telling that Cavandone is where my parents got married. I wanted to show him that beautiful little church (which is now deconsecrated!) where my mom said yes to my dad. Pretty romantic right?

Well, the truth was slightly different. As I told you I know that there is an amazing view of the entire Lago Maggiore from Cavandone, so my idea was to go there and to stop along the way to take tons of pictures!

That day was a bit cloudy and the air already fresh. It was September after all. But honestly who cares about the weather when this spectacular panorama surrounds you? The lake in front of you, mountains covered with snow behind you.

For the occasion I wore one of my favorite dress from Claudie Pierlot. The prettiest part is the back. Those two little bows are so cute, aren’t they? I paired the light blue dress with a pair of blush shoes. Then I added a warm maxi knitwear. I loved how green, blue and pink looked together!
