My Resolutions Include Balloon Sleeves
This period of the year is my favorite to write down my resolutions, more than in January. I don’t want to follow any rules during Summer. It’s the season of freedom. No diets, no timings, no duties (or at least, as less as possible). But Autmn brings always to me the wish to make changes in life.
Most of the time resolutions are pretty much the same as the year before. After summer I always want to start a new diet; I promise myself to go to gym more often; I want to save money with the idea to plan a big trip the next summer.
I’ll be honest: my willpower normaly lasts for less than two weeks! Especially for that point in the list that refuses to spend money in clothes and bags.
New collections in store are always so attracting that it’s pretty impossible for me to resist to the impulse to have the latest must have. To not mention that each season brings so many new trends that sometimes I get a little bit lost, ending to buy everything is “cool” even if it doesn’t work with my style.
So this year I want to make a list of reasonable resolutions. I won’t say “I’m on diet” but I’ll want to follow a healthy lifestyle; I won’t say “I’ll exercise 5 days a week” but I’ll do my best to go to the gym at least twice a week; I won’t even say “I won’t do shopping for months” but I want to try to invest money in few key-pieces that I really love to wear.
Now let’s start from this last point. If you are ready to go shopping for fall but you don’t have idea where to start I tell you one of the coolest trends of the moment that is worth a portion of your shopping budget.
For a well-dressed look invest your money in big fancy sleeve shirts. They are incredibly popular at the moment that both luxury designers and high street brands have included them in their collections. So, set your budget and pick your favorite shirt.
A fave of mine is certainly this striped blouse that I got from Storets. Its balloon sleeves are amazing! To balance the proportions I paired the blouse with a pencil skirt. And then I added another key-piece.
Thanks to Gucci, mules are one of those shoes that we must (!!) wear this season. After searching a lot for the perfect pair I totally felt in love for this pair of mules from the brand Jasmine Elizabeth. They are super chic thanks to the minimal detail of the knot. I liked these mules so much worn with dresses, skirts or even a pair of cropped jeans.
