After my love for shoes and bags, it comes my love for interiors. For this reason I was the happiest girl when last Wednesday IKEA invited me to discover the new catalogue. I arrived at the store with pen and papers in my bag, ready to take down so many notes and new inspo for a little makeover of my house.

I was absolutely prepared to see many new fabulous entries but I have to admit that IKEA seriously impressed me. The new catalogue is not only about new products to buy. It’s a celebration of a way to live your own house.
Sometimes we are over obsessed to look perfect. We want to be good looking, we want to have the perfect job, we want to drive the perfect car.

The life we live in is full of expectations.

It’s only when we come back home and we close the door that we really undressed ourselves of all these expecations and we start to live the life that we really love. A messy imperfect life.
We don’t need a big, perfect and clean kitcken to show that we are masterchef. We need a huge kitchen because we love inviting all friends at home, having parties, cooking with our kids even if what we see after is a massive mess!

When it’s time to furnish your house, play with you personality. Build a space where you would love to live in. Your house should reflect who you really are. Say goodbye to all expectations!

I’m a girl who is totally obsessed by PINK. Come on, look at this moodboard that I have put together and tell me if you wouldn’t love to have a blush living room!

I think I almost screamed of joy when I saw the SÖDERHAMN serie, a new entry in IKEA catalogue. SÖDERHAMN is the name of a collection of armchairs and couches that can be also combined together to create the perfect pink sofa of your dreams. The collection includes two-seat or three-seat sections, a single armchair, a chaise longue, a corner section. You can decide the size and shape of your sofa combining all these single sections together. Just leave your fantasy free! Exactly as I did when I put together this sofa here below:

Once I’ll set the new sofa in my livingroom I would love to add also some small details that will refresh the look of the room.

Recently I discovered myself obsessed by rocking chairs. I love the idea to have a rocking chair next to a huge source of natural light where I can spend my weekends reading a book and eating chocolate (!!). IKEA GRÖNADAL rocking chair is absolutely beautiful! I love its vintage look.
For me there is no sofa without a warm blanket. But one of my biggest problems is how to storage blankets in the living room. So I think I will add soon KVISTBRO storage table where I can put all my blankets in. Last touch? The HÄRLIGA glass dome where I can display my favorite candle.
