White Dress + Zebra Sneakers
Few weeks and finally I’m gonna be on holiday. I can’t wait. Being stuck in Doha during summertime is really hard. Not only for the weather. The city is a sort of desert into the desert. Everyone left the country to spend the summer in their hometowns. Some days I open my house door and I’d want to shout “Ehi, is anyone still here?!”.
Meanwhile I start the countdown to my holiday, I decided to share some pics that I took in Italy last Spring.
The hardest challenge about blogging is finding new locations where to shoot my outfits. The perfect shot isn’t only about great clothes and fabulous shoes. There is more.
If it’s pretty hard to find inspiring locations in Doha (not impossible, just hard) this job becomes so easy when I go back to my hometown, Verbania. Everytime that I’m in Verbania I spend the first three days (at least) wow-ing to each corner, flower, tree, street and building. I’m noticing details of my city more now than the time when I used to live in!
During Spring-time the scenary is even better. All trees are blooming, days are warmer. It’s not hard to imagine that I spend half of my holiday taking pictures.
The day when I took these pictures, it was an amazing May day and I was on a misson to find an ice-cream. I picked this outfit quite quickly. This See by Chloè dress looks pretty with these zebra sneakers, a special collaboration between Opening Ceremony and Adidas Original. I dig the contrast of a classic lace dress and a casual pair of sneakers. It’s my favorite way to create a chic but still super wearable look. To avoid to look too much white (and I’m talking about my pale skin, too!) I needed a pop of color. I slung over my shoulder the Drew bag and voilà! In a second I was out of the door looking for a fresh and tasty icecream.
