Watching, Reading, Listening

I have a new serie of posts for Bonjour Chiara where to share favorite books, TV shows/movies and music. These suggestions are based on my own experience: recent readings, movies that I loved, songs that I cannot take out of my head. But please feel totally free to share with me your personal experiences.

Said that, let’s start!

WHAT TO WATCH

I’m a Netflix-holic. I subscribed to Netflix less than 4 months ago and I’ve already watched more than half of the TV shows available. One of my favorites is  Call The Midwife.
Call The Midwife is a drama series based on the memories of Jennifer Worth, a nurse who worked as midwife in East End of London between 1950’s and 1960’s. Jennifer, her collogues and a group of sisters work day and night to assist women during pregnancy in a historical period when give birth at home was totally common as well as having 6 or more children. Trust me when I say that you will love it!

WHAT TO READ

If you’re in the mood for a psychological thriller The Girl On The Train is the book for you. Three women, Rachel, Anne and Megan. A couple of stories of love. A divorce. A dead body. Jelousy. There are all key-elements to keep you stuck to chair till the end of the book.

WHAT TO LISTEN

The Lumineers are back with a new album called Cleopatra and it’s the perfect soundtrack of Summer 2016.
