Pic-nic In Yellow Lace Dress
After more then one month of silence I’m back! I’m really sorry for the lack of news but if you follow me on Facebook or on Instagram you know that I spent last month in Italy. As it happens most of the time I’m at home with family and friends I spend so much time with them that I forget all resolutions to update this online diary. Sorry!
Anyway, I’m now back to Doha, the big oven of Middle East. I can’t deny that I’m quite happy to be back to 40 degrees. In Italy weather was quite crazy and I experienced three seasons in one: Autumn, Winter and Spring! Temperature sometimes were around 8 degrees other times they reached 25 degrees (which were high enough to make my dad complaing about the hot weather (!!) – when I was just ready to move from two layers of wool to one!).
The first day of sun I decided to set up a corner in the garden where I could read a book and take a full dose of Vitamin D. To celebrate the sun (and to make my skin even paler than usual 🙂 ) I wore this H&M yellow lace dress that I found at Villaggio Mall’s store just few days before my holiday. As soon as I spot it I immediatly thought that it was the perfect copy of Self Portrait dress, which is incredibly popular this summer, but which is also overpriced. So why spend so much money for a dress that probably I’m going to wear not more than 5 times when I can have this H&M yellow lace dress with a handful of Ryals!
That day I decided to take out from the closet not only the H&M yellow lace dress but also my new Chloé bag that after months and months of dreams it finally landed in my hands. Of course, it could be only in pink 😉

I recently bought this book-not-a-book “Il mio libro sbagliato” written by Greta Menchi. It’s a collection of random thoughts about everything and anything! It’s really hilarious, funny. A good reading that you can start and end in less than one hour but it will keep you smiling for all the time 🙂
