The Striped Skirt Manifesto
Mix together nice warm weather, a fresh touch up at your favorite beauty salon (Dot Beauty), a new pair of shoes and that striped skirt that remind a little bit a rainbow which reminds me an article that you’ve just published few days ago. The result? A new outfit post!
After a week of business appointments, where all I wore have been corporate clothes, I wanted to start the weekend right and glamour. When my parents in law arrived in Doha last week (I mentioned their visit here) they brought me a new pair of shoes that I ordered last month and that was stucked in Italy. They made me feel the happiest daughter in law on the earth 🙂
Plans for the day were to have lunch at Katara, Doha’s cultural neighbourhood, and then a walk along the Corniche. So I decided of making the most of my purchase wearing my new pair of shoes together with what I would call my summer manifesto: the Max&Co. striped skirt.
How did I style the striped skirt?
Max&Co. striped skirt is already very colorful so in order to create a eye-catching contrast I picked black and white accessories. In the specific something new and something old! The “something new” is also part of a nice story to tell with a very happy end. I spotted those Topshop heels at Villaggio Mall, but I couldn’t find my size. So I decided to check online and yep! I found the shoes and they were half price 🙂
Les Petits Joueurs bag is something old but that I never get bored to wearing. It’s the funky accessory that I need to make all my outfit stand out. Les Petits Joueurs collections are always fabulous. Maybe I should think to add a new piece soon.
What To Do In Katara
Katara is a great place where to spend some hours outside during days off. My favorite restaurant is Mamig where you can taste armenian and lebanese food. They have a beautiful terrace. It’s better to take advantage of this chill weather and try to spend time outside as much as possible. When the hell season comes, the fish market restaurant is a good option where to eat. It has huge rooms inside.
