Did you celebrate Valentine’s Day? Together with other media, I was invited by Monoprix to take part of a special breakfast for the offical launch of “I Love My Monoprix” campaign. We were welcomed by a giant heart (I’m not joking!), we locked padlocks around the shopping cart and then we had an amazing French breakfast. It sounds all great, right?

Tables were full of delicious croissants and pain au chocolates. There were crisp baguettes and cheese plates. Turkey ham and jam. Omelette, muffins and fresh juice. We tasted a perfect Cappuccino. In other words, we celebrate the love for food!

This love for for food didn’t stop at breakfast only. Since Monoprix is not very close to my house, I don’t come very often for the food shopping, so I took advantage of being there and I treated myself with some delicious products.

I like Monoprix’s organic section. You can really find a wide range of organic food, from quinoa to soia hamburgers, from tofu to chia seeds. And much more. These products are quite expensive, but most of the time it’s worth the purchase. The store is also full of products with awesome packages. Tell me that I’m not the only one who loves buying something just because it has a nice package!

The other sections that I always like to check are those of stationary and kitchen. There is always a nice notebook to add to my collection or a cute kitchen’s towel. And last but not least, Monoprix is one of the official sellers of Smeg products!! (That pastel pink toaster will be mine sooner or later).

Anyway, if you have never been to Monoprix (it’s located in Westbay, Palm Towers) it’s worth a visit and I recommend to check meat, cheese and fish sections for high quality food.
