Would You Like A Coffee?
I’m packing my staff because I’m leaving for my Christmas holiday and I’m remembering my last trip to Malaysia. I spoke a lot about I loved this country and such a beautiful experience I had. But what I didn’t talk about before is a little beautiful coffee shop, a kind of secret place for those who travel in Kuala Lampur that can visit to drink a good coffee and have a break.
My two friends from We Freeze took me and my husband there, after our shooting. The coffee shop is called Coffee Amo and it’s in Chinatown. The entrance is quite strange because you climb over a stair and you arrive in a room which looks totally abandoned but then you cross the door and you enter in a beautiful modern concept coffee shop. Walls are giant chalkboards full of nice decorations. It’s really simple but it is that kind of place that makes you feel at home wherever you are from.
If I have to be honest, these are places that I miss in Doha. Milan is full of nice stores, restaurants, concept stores where you can go and really enjoy the atmosphere of relax. Here everything is more posh and luxury ( and also expensive). The only place that I found which gives me these positive vibes is The Backyard at Ritz Carlton. But this is another story!
