The Girl With A Strange Shirt
There is a moment in Doha when you stop complaining of hot temperatures and you start enjoying the perfect weather that you could wish to have in Autumn.
The city doesn’t offer many outdoor activities. Most of entertainments are inside malls, but Corniche is absolutely one of the best places in Doha where to spend a day off. There are same green areas where kids can play and adults can relax. It’s nice simply walking along Corniche, with the amazing view of Westbay and its skyscrapers.
There are also restaurants on the way and last July my husband and I decided to try Al Mourjan Restaurant, a lebanese cousine. The location is ah-mazing, you literally eat in front of the sea and food is really good (prices totally affordable). Of course, in July was quite impossible to have lunch outside but the terrace is the best part of the restaurant so some weeks ago we decided to go back there again bringing friends with us.
There is a wide choice of typical Lebanese dishes. I’m a hummus lover and I also adore pita bread with halloumi cheese. Desserts are also delicious but pay attention to portions. They are quite big!
That Friday was really relaxing and I opted for a casual outfit. I chose to stay comfy and I wore a pair of chino, a funny and maybe a little bit strange shirt from a brand that I love (Lazy Oaf, maybe your remember this dress), a pair of loafer and a hat to add just a little bit of glamour.
