Beauty Notes – Herbline Essentials Skin Care
Before the summer I received a Herbline Essentials haul with a selection of products to try in honour of the launch of the brand in the Qatar’s market.
For those who don’t know the brand, Herbline Essentials is really famous in Middle East because its products are made with all-natural ingredients, mixed with Himalayan waters. They are also paraben, paraffin and cruelty-free. And, not less important, it’s a UAE based brand.
So during July and August I tried these products: shampoo and conditioner, sun block cream, face wash, skin tonic, under eye gel and face cream.
In general, I can assert that I was very happy with Herbline Essentials. The products’ quality is very good. But three products in particular impressed me a lot and they are now part of my beauty daily routine. I’m talking of Face Wash, Skin Tonic and Under Eye Gel. I tried also The Radiant AHA Cream, but I had to stop it after few applications for the simple reason that I didn’t like the smell! It’s totally subjective, I can’t say nothing about the quality of the cream which was really great. But no, I couldn’t resist to that smell. It was like a kind of veggies mix. I don’t know how to explain.
Anyway, here my thoughts regarding the three products mentioned above that I really loved.
Herbline Essentials Face Wash
Enriched with vitamin C and B6, this soap-free face wash is really a fantastic product. The main ingredients are ginger and white lily. I used and I’m currently using it to wash my face every morning and evening. It can remove quite easily my makeup without irritating the skin. The only thing that I noticed is that after the application I need to use immediately a face cream as the face wash leaves my skin a bit dry, although it’s formulated for normal/dry skin.
Herbline Essentials Skin Tonic
It contains pure natural extracts of cucumber and rose, which are very good to keep the skin cool and soft. It’s blended with a mild astringent which leaves the skin supple and moist. Personally I found it as the perfect product to use to clean my skin before to apply makeup.
Herbline Essentials Aloe Vera & Honey Under Eye Gel
I like the texture in gel. It’s very fresh, light and oil free. Further, the gel includes SPF 15 which it’s one of the first things that I check before to put something on my face. I will never stop to repeat how it’s important to protect the skin against sun’s effects.
I also recommend the Sunscreen Lotion SPF 40. Non-oily and lightweight, this lotion is great for use on the face and body.
Herbline Essentials is available at Boots The Pharmacy, Al Tahrir Pharmacy, Al Barakah Pharmacy, Al Masila Pharmacy, Pharmacy Plus, Qatar Medical Centre, Medical Pharmaceuticals.
