L’Occitane is one of the most popular beauty brands for skincare and bath products. Its last collection, launched few weeks ago, is called Pivoine and includes a CC cream.

What’s a CC cream?

Normally CC creams help to correct any redness or discolourations in our skins. I had to google it honestly because I always heard about BB cream but now we did a step ahead and we are in a new creams generation!

The L’Occitane Pivoine Sublime CC Skin Tone Perfecting Cream (I’m writing the full, long name so you won’t have problem to find it in stores!) is a very good cream. The formula includes peony extract (the main scent of the collection) a SPF 20 (necessary for Doha) and some illuminating pearly particles.

When I put some product for the first time on my hand I was suspicious because the color is really white. I was worried that it would have covered my face without to do breath my skin.

It wasn’t true. Once applied the texture becomes light and silky! This CC cream really gives me a natural, healthy color. It covers my skin pigmentation but my skin breathes. You can trust me because I wore this cream from the morning till the night going around Doha during dusty days. At the end of the day my skin was yes dirty but it looked still smoothed. It’s a perfect base to use before your foundation or you can  wear it alone as I did. I only had to use the concealer for dark circles as I normally do.

It comes in two different tones: light and medium.

The L’Occitane Pivoine CC Cream really does what it promises and even if I received a sample for the review this product is already entered in my daily routine, so for sure I will purchase it again once ran out.
