Few weeks ago I was invited to attend to a beauty breakfast with L’Occitane Middle East team.
In that occasion, the new project L’Occitane au Brésil has been presented.
Two are the main lines. Vitoria Regia and Jenipapo.
Vitoria Regia is a line of fragrant products that evokes the two phases of a giant water lily, whose leaves measure almost THREE meters in diameter. I saw some pics about these flowers and they are amazing.
These flowers are so special because they change during the day. The Vitoria Regia flower sleeps during the day. It’s petals folded over as if to protect itself from the rays of the sun.
During the night, the lily transforms. It blooms and releases a sophistcated floral scent, dominated by green and powedry notes. The next day, it fades away, giving its place to a new one.
So two new fragrances were inspired by the different facets of this flower.
Instead, Jenipapo range was born from the Jenipapo fruit tree, which groes as tall and as quickly as possible, in order to rise above the canopy and soak up the energy of the sun.
The Jenipapo line is focused on suncare and fragranced products for face and body. The Jenipapo fruit has protective and moisturizing properties.
I tried for these last two weeks all these products. I’m really happy for the two Jenipapo sunblock creams: one is specific for face and the other one is a oil for the body. Doha is so hot and my skin needs to be protect against the rays of sun. It also needs to be protect against the effect of A/C which is so high in Doha, so I need a moisturing products that keep my skin hydratated.
Those creams worked!
My last suggestion is also to smell the scent that the two Vitoria Regia fragrances release. They are very different from each other but both incredibly good.
